Web Front End Developer (UI/UX) – Senior Technical Leader
Permanent position located in Palo Alto, CA $125-$195K base salary + bonus
Our client is a rapidly growing developer of platforms and SaaS for security and datacenter monitoring, networking, identity management and big data services. A senior-level person is needed to lead the engineering and development of web front ends for interactive user experience.
You and your team will work on the user interface (UI) and visualizations to help generate actionable insights from very large security oriented datasets. These are an integral part of on-premises appliances and well as SaaS offerings. To be considered for this opportunity you must be a true front-end and JavaScript development pro, have a few full lifecycle developments under your belt, and be a hands-on leader with superior drive and interpersonal skills. Not only are you capable of developing quality code and engineering pixels, but you will interface with product management and storyboarding. This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the best minds in the business developing new products (UI provisioning tools, SaaS, and other UI products) as well as updating legacy systems.
A tremendous compensation package is provided including a generous base salary and RSUs. Some telecommute may be available.
Qualifications include: strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript; experience with large single page apps using frameworks such as React, Vue.js or Angular.js; visualizations framework experience such as d3.js; working experience with JavaScript build tools such as Webpack; experience developing secure frontend applications; CS fundamentals knowledge; 7+ years of experience in frontend development. Experience in a start-up or small environment is desired.
Additional requirements include: proven ability to create great user experiences by simplifying complex product features; able to interface with all levels of people including in product management, design, engineering and management; being self-motivated, a hands-on leader and mentor, and passionate; having a track record in test-driven development and delivering high-quality, well-tested code.
