Position Summary and Responsibilities

• Create, develop and implement algorithms and data structures implemented within sophisticated embedded products to work with analog and digital hardware to improve signal fidelity; provide solutions for industries who use this equipment such as serial data communications, signal integrity, communications, etc.
• Learn in-depth product at functionality and design levels
• Work in a team environment to debug, diagnose and fix various software issues reported by customers; develop software application/features for different products.
• Publish and patent research results

Products are built on sophisticated object oriented software programming techniques utilizing technologies such as ActiveX, WTL/ATL/COM, GDI toolset, DirectX, WDK, WDF. C++ is the primary programming language.

Qualifications

• Must be skilled in 2 of 3:
  • C++ programming
  • Electronics, linear systems and DSP
  • Apllied Math
• BSEE or equivalent; MSEE a plus
• Working experience of C++ programming and Python
• Demonstrable knowledge of linear systems theory, DSP and transforms (Fourier, Laplace, z)
• Strong Applied Math skills – specifically linear algebra and numerical analysis
• Knowledge of digital and analog hardware electronics
• Passion for quality and be a proactive thinker
• Ability to work in a team environment
